My player to watch for the St. Louis Blues against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday is forward Robert Thomas.

Thomas has five goals, seven assists in an eight-game point streak and will look to continue his run in a game in which will be important to see how the Blues respond after Thursday's 5-1 stinker against the last-place San Jose Sharks.

Thomas and fellow linemate Pavel Buchnevich are each on points runs as of late, and they will be matched up against the Kings' top line of Anze Kopitar, who has been a thorn in the Blues' side in his career with a point-per-game clip in 61 games (20 goals, 41 assists).

So the task for Thomas will not only be to try and provide the Blues with offense against a solid Kings group but also be the seal that tries to contain Kopitar's line with Quinton Byfield and Adrian Kempe.
