My St. Louis Blues player to watch against the Seattle Kraken on Friday is forward Pavel Buchnevich.

Buchnevich continues to get prime scoring chances despite having just one non-empty net goal since Dec. 21 when he scored a power-play goal Wednesday in a 4-3 overtime win against the Vancouver Canucks.

Buchnevich has just a goal and an assist the past six games, but it's not as if he's been invisible; he's been in one of those snake-bit modes.

This could be a spot for Buchnevich to perhaps start stringing together consecutive games with a goal; he has six points (four goals, two assists) in his career against the Seattle Kraken, tonight's opponent, and with the Blues getting some secondary scoring as of late, opponents won't have to solely focus on the Blues' top line, and in that case, it could spring Buchnevich, who is tied for second on the Blues with 34 points (14 goals, 20 assists) and is third in goal scoring.
