The St. Louis Blues look to get back in the win column against a struggling Toronto Maple Leafs squad.

There aren't many teams playing worse hockey than the St. Louis Blues, but the Toronto Maple Leafs are most certainly in contention.

The Leafs enter tonight's contest with an 8-9-2 record, amassing 18 points. The Blues own a 6-9-4 record, totalling 16 points. Both teams are performing far below the level expected of them, and each team is in desperate need of finding a way to exit with the two points.

The Blues have dropped their previous two games and are 3-4-3 in their last 10. However, the Leafs are losers of five straight, four of which came in regulation and are 4-5-1 in their last 10.

The one advantage the Blues have over the Leafs is that they are far healthier. The only injury the Blues are dealing with is to Jake Neighbours, who will return at some point during their road trip. The Leafs are dealing with injuries to Auston Matthews, Chris Tanev, Nicolas Roy, Brandon Carlo, Scott Laughton and Anthony Stolarz.

If you feel like this has been said before, it's probably because it has, but if the Blues are going to begin turning things around, tonight's game is one they need to win.

The Blues will have Jordan Binnington in net tonight, and he'll be opposed by Joseph Woll, who will make his second start of the season.

Puck drop is at 6 p.m. CST at Scotiabank Arena.
