St. Louis Blues rookie Jimmy Snuggerud finished fifth in Calder Trophy voting.

The NHL has unveiled the results of the 2025-26 NHL Calder Trophy voting, with St. Louis Blues rookie Jimmy Snuggerud finishing fifth.

Snuggerud received 171 points in the voting, receiving two second-place votes, six third-place votes, 25 fourth-place votes, and 52 fifth-place votes.

Snuggerud’s rookie season saw him score 21 goals and 51 points in 70 games, ranking third in goals and tied for second in points on the Blues. His rookie ranks were fourth in goals and points.

Finishing ahead of Snuggerud in Calder Trophy voting were Matthew Schaefer, Ivan Demidov, Beckett Sennecke and Jakub Dobes.

Schaefer was the runaway favorite, as the 2025 first overall pick of the New York Islander unanimously won the award, receiving all 198 first-place votes. Coming in second was Montreal Canadiens winger Demidov, who took 120 of the second-place votes.

Not too far behind Demidov was Anaheim Ducks rookie sensation Sennecke, with Habs netminder Jakub Dobes then coming in fourth.

Just behind Snuggerud was Minnesota Wild goaltender Jesper Wallstedt and Carolina Hurricanes defender Alexander Nikishin.

Fellow rookies Dalibor Dvorsky and Logan Mailloux did not receive any votes in the Calder Trophy race.
