MacEachern gets call from Thunderbirds with Joseph still sick; was producing nearly a point per game in AHL
ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues have recalled forward Mackenzie MacEachern from Springfield of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.

The forward had 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 17 games with the Thunderbirds this season.
With Mathieu Joseph, who missed Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss against the Edmonton Oilers still missing from practice, the Blues could use another body as insurance with two games left against the Florida Panthers on Thursday and Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday before the 4 Nations Face-Off from Feb. 12-20.
MacEachern, 30, last played with the Blues on Dec. 30, 2023, a 4-2 loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins; he played in eight games last season and had one assist.
