First-Round pick in 2023 NHL Draft played in two games for Thunderbirds last weekend after being assigned to AHL

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues have recalled defenseman Theo Lindstein from Springfield of the American Hockey League on Friday afternoon.

The 21-year-old, who was sent down last week, has played in two games with the Thunderbirds during his recent stint and recorded two points (one goal, one assist).

The first-round pick (No. 29) in the 2023 NHL Draft played in four games for the Blues this season and had one assist.

The Blues also have 2023 third-round pick Quinton Burns with the team and there is some question over the availability of Colton Parayko, who missed Friday's practice due to an upper-body injury, so perhaps getting Lindstein up is insurance.
