With NHL season at 84 games starting with upcoming season, teams' preseason schedule reduced to four games; Blues to play Stars, Blackhawks twice each
ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues announced the team’s preseason schedule on Monday for the 2026-27 season, and they included home and home games against a pair of familiar foes.
The Blues will play four preseason games against division rivals Dallas Stars and Chicago Blackhawks.
The Blues will host the Stars on Sept. 19 and the Blackhawks on Sept. 24 at Enterprise Center and road games Sept. 21 in Dallas and Sept. 26 in Chicago.
With the preseason schedule shortened, players are now more so needing to come into training camp prepared and in shape without the benefit of having extra games, especially those looking to make a roster, to display their abilities.
The NHL is expected to announce the date for release of the 2026-27 regular-season schedule at some point later in the week.
