Mathias Laferriere is staying put.
The 2018 sixth-round pick signed a one-year, two-way contract on Sunday to remain in the St. Louis Blues organization.
The forward (6-foot-2, 188 pounds), who has spent the past three seasons with Springfield of the American Hockey League, will make $775,000 NHL and $100,000 AHL, the team announced.
Laferriere has played in 174 games in the AHL the past three seasons, including 68 last season when he had 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists).
The Blues selected him with the 169th pick in the 2018 draft after he spent five years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Since the end of the 2023-24 hockey season, Laferriere is the eighth Blues minor leaguer/prospect to sign a contract moving into the 2024-25 season.
