This Blues star is on the verge of setting a new milestone.

Team back at practice Tuesday after nine-day break from 4 Nations Face-Off

St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas is having another strong season for the Central Division club. In 44 games, the 2017 first-round pick has 13 goals, 41 points, and a plus-2 rating. He is also not slowing down, either, as he has five points over his last four games.

Thomas has emerged as a crucial part of the Blues' forward group over the last few seasons, and he is now on the verge of setting a new career milestone. Thomas needs to score just one more goal to reach the 100th of his career.

Thomas is undoubtedly more of a playmaker, as his 257 assists in 440 NHL games effectively show. In addition, 88 of his assists came since just last season. However, he can also be a scoring threat, as demonstrated by his 26 goals in 82 games this past season.

The Blues play their first game after the 4 Nations Face-Off break on Feb. 22 against the Winnipeg Jets. All eyes should be on Thomas, as he is incredibly close to hitting goal No. 100. It will be fascinating to see when he gets it from here.
