The Blues have traded one of their defenseman to the Islanders.

Blues coach cites Manchester City manager as someone to look at as to how he inspires players

The St. Louis Blues have traded defenseman Scott Perunovich to the New York Islanders in exchange for a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick. 

Perunovich, 26, has appeared in 24 games this season, where he has two goals and four assists. Now, he will provide the Islanders with a bit more defensive depth from here. 

Perunovich was selected by the Blues with the 45th overall pick of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. In 97 games as a Blue, he had 29 points and a plus-4 rating.
