During the Nashville Predators' Jan. 31 contest against the Buffalo Sabres, former St. Louis Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly reached a big milestone. With his assist on Luke Evangelista's first-period goal, O'Reilly recorded the 800th point of his NHL career.
It took O'Reilly 1,120 games to hit the 800-point mark, which is undoubtedly solid from the star two-way forward. He is not showing any signs of slowing down at age 33, either, as he has 14 goals and 29 points in 47 games this season.

A decent chunk of O'Reilly's points came during his five-year tenure with the Blues. In 327 games with St. Louis, he had 97 goals, 172 assists, and 269 points. These are the best offensive numbers he had with any of the five teams he has played for in his career thus far.
Nevertheless, hitting 800 points is a great accomplishment for O'Reilly. We will need to wait and see what he does from here.
