With August almost here, most of this year's top unrestricted free agents (UFAs) have been signed. Yet, there are still some interesting UFAs available for the taking, and one of them is former St. Louis Blues forward Robby Fabbri.

Fabbri, 29, spent this past season with the Anaheim Ducks. In 44 games with the Pacific Division club, he recorded eight goals, eight assists, 16 points, 58 hits, and a minus-6 rating. While it was a down offensive year for Fabbri, it is fair to wonder if a team out there could take a shot on the former Blues first round-pick.

Before this past season, Fabbri has shown during his career that he has the potential to provide decent secondary offensive production. This was certainly the case just back in 2023-24 with the Detroit Red Wings, as he recorded 18 goals and 32 points in 68 games. He has also posted at least 30 points four times in his nine-year career.

Injury trouble has been a consistent trend with Fabbri, however, as he has only played at least 60 games in three out of his nine NHL seasons. This is where there is some risk with Fabbri, but on a cheap one-year deal, he could be a solid player for a team needing more depth to take a chance on. He has shown, when healthy, that he can be a decent point producer.

In 164 games over four seasons with the Blues, Fabbri recorded 32 goals, 41 assists, 73 points, and 157 hits. He was also on the Blues' 2019 Stanley Cup championship team.

In 31 games with the Blues on the year, the 24-year-old goaltender recorded a 16-8-3 record, a .904 save percentage, and a 2.64 goals-against average. This was after he had a 15-12-1 record, a .913 save percentage, and a 2.65 goals-against average in 30 games with the Blues in 2023-24.
