MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. -- Simon Robertsson and Scott Harrington each was missing for the St. Louis Blues on the ice due to respective upper-body injuries.
Robertsson, a third-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, has been impressive throughout training camp and was a standout for the Blues at the 2024 Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase Sept. 13-15.
"Robertsson got banged up again at yesterday's morning practice and he's going to be day-to-day for us right now," Blues coach Drew Bannister said. "I don't foresee him being on the ice tomorrow or in the game on Saturday."
As for Harrington, a defenseman who is in camp on a professional tryout but under contract with Springfield of the American Hockey League, was injured early in the first period of a 3-0 loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday.
"Upper-body injury, took a pretty good hit where he got his head bounced off the glass there, so I haven't personally seen him here this morning," Bannister said. "Obviously he didn't skate today and he won't be available for us tomorrow."
On Thursday afternoon, Harrington along with forwards Sam Bitten and Matthew Peca each was released from his professional tryout and assigned to the Thunderbirds.
