ST. LOUIS -- Jimmy Snuggerud's accomplishments this past weekend didn't go unnoticed.

The St. Louis Blues' first-round pick (No. 23) in the 2022 NHL Draft had himself quite a weekend for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, scoring twice on Friday in a 3-2 win against the Wisconsin Badgers, including the game-tying and winning goals, then collecting two assists, including the game-winner in overtime of a 3-2 win against the Badgers on Saturday.

The Big 10 recognized Snuggerud on Tuesday by naming him the First Star of the week
