St. Louis Blues Assign Quinton Burns To The AHL

The St. Louis Blues have reassigned 21-year-old defenseman Quinton Burns to the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL.

Like the St. Louis Blues did with Otto Stenberg, they have reassigned Quinton Burns to the AHL following a 5-4 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.

The Blues were resilient against the Red Wings coming back from a two-goal defecit to win. The Blues scored three unanswered goals in the third period, with the winner coming off the stick of Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, his first goal of his NHL career.

With the win, the Blues now have a 7-6-1 record, good enough for 15 points and fifth place in the Central Division.

Prior to the game, the Blues recalled Theo Lindstein from the AHL to replace an injured Colton Parayko. Lindstein logged 10:14 of ice time, finishing as a minus-2.

This is his second season in the AHL, as he split most of his rookie season between the ECHL and AHL.

Burns is a 6-foot-2, 194-pound left-handed defenseman whom the Blues drafted in the third round (74th overall) in the 2023 NHL draft. Burns is a native of Smith Falls, Ont.
