
USA Blue has come out of the chute firing at the 2024 World Junior Summer Showcase.
And the two St. Louis Blues on the team are both making impacts.
Defenseman Lukas Fischer, who scored on Sunday in a 7-2 win against Sweden, had an assist on Monday, in a 5-3 win against Finland at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich.
Fischer, a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, assisted on a goal by Joey Willis in the third period to make it 5-1.
Defenseman Paul Fischer, a 2023 fifth-round pick, played on the second defensive pair; the lefty had two assists in the win against Sweden on Sunday.
In the second game of the day, defenseman Colin Ralph (second round, 2024) earned his first point for USA White in a 2-1 win against Sweden.
Ralph, who also played in a 3-2 win against Finland on Sunday, earned the secondary assist on a goal by Teddy Stiga in the first period that made it 2-0.
Forward Otto Stenberg (2023, first round, 25th overall) was in the lineup again for Sweden after collecting an assist on Sunday, but defenseman Theo Lindstein (2023, first round, 29th overall) sat out for the second straight day.
With a day off of action on Tuesday, only one game on Wednesday with USA taking on Finland at 3 p.m. (CT). Canada will join the field on Friday. All games from the showcase are streamed live and on-demand on USAHockeyTV.com.
