The St. Louis Blues have acquired forward Corey Andonovski from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Mathias Laferriere.
Andonovski, 25, appeared in 27 AHL games this season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, where he has three goals and five points. This is after he had seven goals, 30 points, and 99 penalty minutes in 63 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season. The Uxbridge, Ontario native has yet to make his NHL debut.
Laferriere, 24, was selected by the Blues with the 169th overall pick of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. In 33 games this season with the Springfield Thunderbirds, he had two goals, 10 points, and a plus-3 rating. Like Andonovski, he is still waiting to make his NHL debut.

Overall, this is a minor swap between the Blues and Penguins. It will be intriguing to see how much of an impact Andonovski can make in the Blues' system from here.
