    Season opens Oct. 8, home opener Oct. 15, Winter Classic in Chicago among notable dates; Berube returns with Maple Leafs Nov. 2

    The St. Louis Blues open with a three-game road trip Oct. 8 against the Seattle Kraken as part of their 2024-25 regular-season schedule, released by the NHL on Tuesday.

    The Blues, who have missed the Stanley Cup playoffs the past two seasons, open their home schedule at Enterprise Center Oct. 15 against the Minnesota Wild.

    The schedule includes a Dec. 31 matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks in the Discover NHL Winter Classic at Wrigley Field, four games with the newly-relocated Utah Hockey Club (formerly the Arizona Coyotes) and 26 games against Central Division foes.

    One new perk to the home schedule this season includes 6 p.m. puck drops for nine of 11 Saturday night home games. 

    Including Friday and Sunday, 18 of the 41 home dates are Fri-Sun., and Sunday home times are at 5 p.m.

    The longest homestand will be Feb. 4-25 in the middle of a two-week pause for the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off when the Blues are off from Feb. 9-21. the longest road trip is March 2-15 and there are 10 sets of back-to-backs, including two at home (Feb. 22-23 against the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche and March 22-23 against Chicago and the Nashville Predators.

    Former Blues, Stanley Cup-winning coach Craig Berube and the Toronto Maple Leafs return to Enterprise Center on Nov. 2.

    The regular season will conclude April 15 at home against Utah.
