

ST. LOUIS -- Two More St. Louis Blues have been added to rosters for the 2025 IIHF World Championship.
Forward Brayden Schenn and goalie Jordan Binnington will represent Canada, joining forwards Alexandre Texier (France) and Dalibor Dvorsky (Slovakia) in Stockholm, Swdden and Herning, Denmark from May 9-25.
This will be Binnington's third time representing Canada at this competition; he was also on the squad last year and went 6-2 in eight games. Binnington also backstopped Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off, being a key component in a 3-2 overtime win against the United States in the championship game on Feb. 12.
The 31-year-old Richmond Hill, Ontario native was 28-22-5 in 56 regular-season appearances for the Blues this season and included a 2.69 goals-against average, a .900 save percentage and three shutouts.
Schenn, 33, played in all 82 regular-season games with the Blues this season for the third straight season and had 50 points (18 goals, 32 assists) in his second season as captain.
This will be Schenn's first representation of his country since the 2017 World Championship. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native has represented Canada eight times previously. He is a five-time medalist, capturing gold at the 2008 U-18 World Junior Championship, silver at the 2010 U-20 WJC, silver at the 2011 U-20 WJC, gold at the 2015 WC, and silver at the 2017 WC.
Texier, 25, is a Grenoble native who will be representing his country for the first time since the 2023 World Championship; he played in 31 regular-season games during his first season with the Blues this past year and had 11 points (six goals, five assists); he has represented France at numerous international tournaments.
A three-time medalist, Texier led the team to bronze at the 2017 U-20 WJC (D1A), gold at the 2017 U-18 WJC, and bronze at the 2015 U-18 WJC.
The 19-year-old Dvorsky, the No. 10 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, played in 61 regular-season games with Springfield of the American Hockey League this season and ranked ninth among all AHL rookies with 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists), sixth with 21 goals and second with 10 power play goals and was the Thunderbirds' representative at the 2025 AHL All-Star Game.
The Zvolen native has represented Slovakia at numerous international tournaments, including the 2025 U-20 WJC where he served as captain and had nine points (five goals, four assists) in five games. Dvorsky led Slovakia to a silver medal at the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and a gold medal at the 2022 U-18 WJC (D1A).
The Blues were eliminated by the Winnipeg Jets in seven games in the Western Conference First Round last Sunday.
