Jordan Binnington sits atop the mountain all by himself now.

The St. Louis Blues goalie made 31 saves to win his 152nd game, passing Mike Liut for the franchise's all-time wins record for a goalie in a 3-0 win against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center on Wednesday.

Binnington earned his 152nd win in his 298th NHL game, passing Mike Liut, who had 151 wins in 347 games.

Liut, who spent the first five-plus seasons of his 14-year career in St. Louis, offered the proper congratulatory message for his guy:

The shutout was Binnington’s first of the season and 16th in the NHL. His first NHL win was also a shutout, 3-0 against the Philadelphia Flyers on Jan. 7, 2019.

Once Robert Thomas scored nine seconds into the game, Binnington held down the fort.

"It's nice just to get it and to accomplish something like that," Binnington said. "It's just a matter of being here long enough to get those wins and to compound those wins over time. I'm proud to be here and I'm proud to have that may wins."

Binnington, who is 152-103-32 with a 2.80 goals-against average and .907 save percentage in six seasons, needed to be at his best tonight, especially in the second period when the Blues were outshot 11-1.

"They came at us hard, but I guess that's why we've got the all-time leader in Blues' win to back us back there, and he was amazing tonight," Blues captain Brayden Schenn said. "He's been good all year and I'm just happy for him.

"There's been a ton of good Blues goalies that passed through the organization and he should be proud of himself. He's had to prove people wrong throughout his whole career and to be able to step up and be a backbone for the St. Louis Blues for many years and many more years to come, I'm just extremely happy for him."

Added Blues coach Jim Montgomery, "In the second period, 'Binner,' congratulations on breaking records and he showed why in the second period because be was fantastic. He held down the fort (in the second period) while we were struggling. But the positive out of that is, it was very obvious where we needed to get better and what we needed to continue to do well."
