
Those following St. Louis Blues prospects probably have their sights set on 2022 first-round pick Jimmy Snuggerud.
The sharpshooter, who chose to return to the Minnesota Golden Gophers for his junior season, hasn't exactly been lighting the net up this season through six games (one goal).
Should Blues fans be concerned?
Probably wouldn't put too much stock into it -- yet.
The junior hasn't exactly been held off the scoresheet; he does have six assists to go with his only goal and the Golden Gophers are 5-1 on the season.
One would perhaps worry about the lack of scoring (Snuggerud had 21 goals in each of his first two seasons) but he does have 29 shots and is averaging just under five per game (4.8).
Now, if Snuggerud wasn't shooting the puck, there might be cause for concern. But the fact he is clearly getting shot attempts, as good a shooter as he's been in the past, pucks will eventually start going in the net.
