Blues coach Jim Montgomery on Nick Leddy (12/9/24)/BlueNote Productions St. Louis Blues defenseman Nick Leddy will remain out of the lineup. After making progress and skating in full prior to departing on their four-game trip that concludes Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks, Blues coach Jim Montgomery disclosed to reporters Monday after practice that the 33-year-old was sent back to S. Louis for further testing. Leddy, who hasn't played since Oct. 15 against the Minnesota Wild, was quite possibly on target to return during a trip [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/st-louis-blues/latest-news/leddy-joining-blues-on-upcoming-trip-closer-to-rejoining-lineup] that has seen the Blues (13-13-2) go 2-1-0 on the trip; he was skating in full prior to leaving on Dec. 2 and had been on the ice throughout the trip but wasn't skating Monday. Leddy, who has played in just four games this season, accompanied the team on a four-game trip earlier this season but was sent home for further evaluation. It's obviously a setback, and there is no timeline for a return to the ice until test results show the team any information.
