
Finland's overtime win tied them with Canada and Sweden.
Team Sweden vs Team Finland was the first of two rivalry matchups on Saturday, as the USA will face-off against Canada at 8 p.m.
The score remained close throughout the entirety of the game, but Sweden eventually fell to Finland a 4-3 overtime loss.
Tampa Bay Lightning captain Victor Hedman was on the ice for the 3-2 Sweden goal, when Toronto forward William Nylander took the puck in the defensive zone and passed it to defenseman Erik Karlsson. The Pittsburgh defenseman then scored on his shot from the right faceoff circle.
Hedman, who has had one assist so far in the 4 Nations Face-off tournament, was initially awarded the secondary assist on the goal, but the it was later removed.
