During the off-season, Cole Koepke signed a one-year contract with the Boston Bruins, officially ending his time with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
While with the Bolts organization, the 26-year-old winger primarily played with their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch. In 26 NHL games over two seasons with the Lightning, he had one goal and two assists.

However, Koepke matched his previous career offensive production in the Bruins' latest contest against the Montreal Canadiens. The 6-foot-1 winger scored the game-winning goal for Boston and also added two assists on the night.
When the Bruins signed Koepke, it was believed that he would simply be an extra forward in their system. However, after a strong training, he earned a spot in their bottom six, and he is taking advantage of it big time.
