This former Lightning forward is on the move in a big trade.

According to multiple sources, the Vancouver Canucks have traded former Tampa Bay Lightning forward J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers in exchange for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini, and a conditional first-round pick (top-13 protected). Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington are also heading to New York, according to New York Post's Larry Brooks.

Miller, 31, had been the subject of trade rumors due to the confirmed rift between him and Canucks star Elias Pettersson. Now, Miller is returning for his second stint as a Ranger because of it.

Miller will now give the Rangers' top six a serious boost as they look to reclaim a post-season spot. In 40 games this season, he has nine goals and 35 points. This is after he had 37 goals and 103 points in 81 games this past campaign with Vancouver.

Miller's first stint as a Ranger ended when the Lightning acquired him and Ryan McDonagh during the 2017-18 campaign. In 94 games as a Bolt, Miller had 23 goals and 65 points.
