The Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to bounce back after their disappointing loss to the Florida Panthers earlier this week as they’ll host the Los Angeles Kings tonight at Benchmark International Arena.
Brandon Hagel is currently day-to-day with an upper-body injury that caused him to leave the matchup against Florida early, as our Diandra Loux wrote earlier today.
This afternoon, the Lightning activated defenseman Ryan McDonagh off of the injured reserve as both he and goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy are set to return tonight for Tampa Bay.
Phillip Danault and Darcy Kuemper are currently injured for the Kings. Los Angeles played last night and were defeated by the Panthers with a final score of 3-2.
This season, the Kings have been led offensively by Adrian Kempe who has 28 points in 33 games and Kevin Fiala who has 12 goals during the same span.
