Game Preview: Lightning Head to Los Angeles cover image

The Tampa Bay Lightning are back in action as they look to extend their five-game winning streak, this time they're on the second half of a back-to-back though which could come into play.

The Lightning defeated the Anaheim Ducks in overtime last night, and now they're right back at it, as they face the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings have been struggling as of late, with a 3-5-2 record in their last ten games, but one of those three wins did come against the Lightning.

Nikita Kucherov has been on fire for the Lighting as of late, leading the team in goals, assists and points over the last five games. As for the Kings, Adrian Kempe is tied for the team lead in that span with four points with Anze Kopitar, who has four assists. Alex Laferriere leads the team in goals during the five games, with three.
