Game Preview: Lightning Visit the City of Brotherly Love cover image

After a short one-game homestand and three days without a game, the Tampa Bay Lightning are back on the road tonight. They'll visit the Philadelphia Flyers for the first of two straight games at Xfinity Mobile Arena, as the two teams will faceoff again on Monday.

Entering tonight's matchup, the Lightning find themselves just a single point out of the top spot in the Atlantic Division, though they have two games in hand over the Montreal Canadiens. The Lightning also enter the night in the middle of an eight-game winning streak.

As for the Flyers, they're third in the Metropolitan Division, also with two games in hand over the teams ahead of them, the Carolina Hurricanes and the New York Islanders. The Flyers are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games, but have been much stronger at home this season than on the road.

For the Lightning, Nikita Kucherov leads his team in all offensive categories over the last five games, with 14 points, 5 goals and nine assists. Travis Konecny leads the Flyers in points in the last five games with five.
