The Lightning have now made a roster move leading up to their big Game 5 matchup against the Panthers. The Bolts have announced that they have recalled defenseman Max Crozier from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
Crozier, 25, appeared in five regular-season games with the Lightning this campaign, where he had zero points, six blocks, 11 hits, and an even plus/minus rating. His last appearance with the Lightning was on Jan. 25 against the Detroit Red Wings, where he recorded two shots in 11:18 of ice time.
Down in the AHL this season with the Crunch, Crozier put together a strong season. In 52 games with Syracuse this campaign, he set new career highs with nine goals, 25 assists, 34 points, and a plus-16 rating.
Crozier was selected by the Lightning with the 120th overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. In 18 career NHL regular-season games with the Lightning, he has two assists and seven penalty minutes. He has also played in three career playoff games with the Bolts, posting zero points.
