The Tampa Bay Lightning appear to have dodged an injury in Saturday night's game.
Forward Zemgus Girgensons left the game during the second period on Saturday when the Lightning faced off against the Carolina Hurricanes. Despite leaving that game early, Girgensons was back on the ice when the Lightning practiced on Monday.
While nothing is set in stone, it appears that the 32-year-old forward should be available for Jon Cooper and company when the Lightning visit the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night.
Girgensons is currently in his second season with the Lightning organization and has played 58 games for Tampa in the current campaign. He's scored eight goals and tallied a total of 15 points this season, which more than doubles his totals during the 2024-25 season.
During practice, Girgensons was playing alongside Yanni Gourde and Pontus Holmberg.
