The Tampa Bay Lightning will visit the Seattle Kraken on Saturday after an 8-3 win against the Calgary Flames on Thursday night. The Lightning have been battling injuries in the month of December. With Erik Cernak already out due to an injury, Victor Hedman was scratched prior to puck drop on Thursday night, with a lower-body injury. The Lightning were left with just five healthy blueliners to finish the game in Calgary after J.J. Moser also departed with an injury.

“It's been tough," said Jon Cooper. "It's a tough league to stay healthy in. We got banged up in Vancouver and so we're just trying to hold it together here until we get home”

We don’t know what the lineup will look like yet for Saturday’s game, the only update so far is regarding Moser, who is considered “highly doubtful” to play according to Cooper. If Cernak or Hedman still aren’t able to go, the Lightning will have no choice but to call up another defenseman from Syracuse.

Tampa Bay enters Saturday's game tied for first in the NHL in goals per game with 3.96. Seattle has gone 8-6-2 at home and are 15-14-2 overall.
