The Tampa Bay Lightning made several more roster moves involving defensemen today.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are fresh off of a 4-1 over the Minnesota Wild. Darren Raddysh scored the first two goals for the Lightning - the second one would hold up as the game winner.

Raddysh played a season high 25:41 in the win. Part of the reason for the high ice time was the addition of two call ups into the lineup.

Sean Day and Declan Carlile were recalled after Mikhail Sergachev was placed on injured reserve. Carlile made his rookie debut while Day was a healthy scratch.

According to The Hockey News' own Diandra Loux, Carlile had a solid game. He played 11:27 and contributed two blocks and a hit.

Despite the positives out of his performance, he finds himself on the short end of the hockey stick - and on his way back to Syracuse.

Jack Thompson and Emil Lilleberg from the Syracuse Crunch. At this point in time it's unclear why the move was made. Jon Cooper may want to get a look at Thompson or Lilleberg in game action after seeing what Carlile has to offer.

Injuries are a double-edged sword. On one hand the team loses a contributing member but on the other hand, it gives someone new an opportunity to grab a roster spot by the horns. Time will tell if Thompson or Lilleberg will be given that chance.
