Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jack Finley had a solid season down in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch. While he was limited to only 40 games, he still scored a career-high 14 goals and recorded 28 points to go along with a plus-11 rating. Overall, it was a nice step in the right direction for the 6-foot-6 forward, and he will be a clear player to watch once training camp rolls around.

While Finley may not be the most-talked-about prospect in the Lightning's system, he has the potential to blossom into a nice part of Tampa Bay's roster in the near future. This is especially so when noting that the Lightning's bottom six could use a makeover after their brief post-season run this spring.

If Finley impresses during the pre-season, it would not be particularly surprising if he got more of a shot on the Lightning's roster next season. However, his goal from here will be to take that next step and prove that he is ready for the NHL level.

It will be fascinating to see what kind of season Finley can put together in the 2025-26 season. His size and skill should certainly create some optimism about his future with the Atlantic Division club. If he continues to trend in the right direction, he could become a very nice piece of Tampa Bay's lineup.
