On Sunday afternoon, Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Hagen Burrows and the University of Denver faced off against Western Michigan University in the NCAA Regional Final.

Burrows was kept off of the scoresheet in Denver's 6-2 victory over the Broncos.

This season, Burrows appeared in 40 games for the Pioneers. He has scored six goals and 10 assists to this point. The Lightning selected Burrows in the fourth round of the 2024 NHL Draft. At the high school level, Burrows was known as a top offensive contributor but he hasn't been able to find that same rhythm to this point in his collegiate career.

Burrows and the Pioneers will now head to Las Vegas, Nevada to take on the University of Michigan in the Frozen Four Semifinal on April 9. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
