The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled three forwards from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
On Tuesday afternoon, it was announced that the Lightning have recalled forwards Dylan Duke, Conor Geekie, and Jakob Pelletier from the Crunch:
The trio are the Crunch's three scoring leaders to this point in the season. Pelletier leads the team in points with 75 in 61 games. Geekie is also performing over a point-per-game level with the Crunch, recording 59 points in 56 games.
Duke, on the other hand, leads the Crunch in goals with 31 in 67 games. His 55 points are also enough to be tied for third on the team alongside Mitchell Chaffee who was re-assigned from the Lightning to the Crunch in a subsequent move:
Chaffee played in three games during his most recent recall, failing to record a point while being a -2 during his time with the Lightning.
Geekie has played 11 games with the Lightning this season, picking up two assists in the process. Pelletier has made two appearances in the NHL during the current campaign as well, but failed to record a point. Meanwhile, despite playing two games for the Lightning last season, Duke has yet to make his season debut in the NHL.
