
The NHL announced on Thursday that LA Kings center Anze Kopitar is the winner of the 2025 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, awarded to the player who best combines sportsmanship, gentlemanly conduct, and high playing ability.
Kopitar received 50 first-place votes and 856 total voting points, ahead of Lightning center Brayden Point who received 27 first-place votes and 793 total voting points. Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel finished third with 782.
Point finished the regular season with just one minor penalty and seven total penalty minutes across 77 games, all while continuing to excel offensively for the Lightning.
The 2025 NHL Awards will premiere tonight at 6 p.m. ET on TNT before Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.
