EA Sports' NHL 26 will officially be released on Sep. 12. Due to this, EA Sports has been revealing the top 10 players at each position in the game.
Without any surprise, Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point is among the top centers in NHL 26. EA Sports' has given him a 92 overall in NHL 26, which makes him the ninth-best center in the game.
Given the season that Point just had, it is not necessarily surprising to see him among the best centers in NHL 26. The 29-year-old was excellent yet again for the Bolts in 2024-25, posting 42 goals and 82 points in 77 games. This was after he recorded 46 goals and 90 points in 81 games with the Lightning in 2023-24.
This was also the third season in a row where Point averaged more than a point per game. This includes his best NHL season in 2022-23, as he set career highs with 51 goals and 95 points in 82 games that campaign.
Given all of this, Point being given a 92 overall in NHL 26 is entirely justifiable. He is certainly a player to use in NHL 26 because of it.
