Impressive stuff from the Lightning forward.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Anthony Cirelli hit a new milestone during the team's matchup against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday.

At the 19:03 mark of the second period, Cirelli picked up the primary assist on Brandon Hagel's goal that gave Tampa Bay a 5-1 lead. With this, Cirelli has now recorded the 200th assist of his NHL career.

This is a solid milestone for Cirelli, and it shows that the 29-year-old has done a good job at setting up his teammates over the years. It took him 594 games to reach the 200th assist of his career.

With this helper, Cirelli now has seven points in 12 games so far this season with the Lightning. Now, he will be aiming to heat up after hitting this big career milestone from here.

It will now be interesting to see if Cirelli can build off this from here. It is clear that the Lightning made the right call by selecting him in the third round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. This is a decision that has paid off nicely for Tampa Bay, and Cirelli reaching his 200th career assist only shows this further.
