Vasilevskiy got things back on track against the Capitals.

Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy had a tough season debut for the Atlantic Division club on Oct. 1 against the New York Rangers. During the matchup, he allowed four goals on 24 shots. With this, he ended the game with an ugly .833 save percentage.

While Vasilevskiy had a tough start to the season, he bounced back very nicely in Tampa Bay's most recent game against the Washington Capitals.

Vasilevskiy was very solid for Tampa Bay on Saturday against the Capitals, as he stopped 20 out of 21 shots he faced. With this, he ended the matchup with a very good .952 save percentage.

Seeing Vasilevskiy put together a strong bounce-back game like this for the Lightning is not too surprising. It is no secret that he is a star when playing at his best. Him winning the Vezina Trophy just last season shows this.

Now, Vasilevskiy will be aiming to build off his strong start against the Capitals as the season carries on. It will be intriguing to see if he can do just that for the Bolts from here.
