Amazing stuff from Vasilevskiy.

The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Washington Capitals by a 3-1 final score on Saturday night.

Andrei Vasilevskiy played a big role in the Lightning's win, as he stopped 20 out of 21 Capitals shots he faced.

Vasilevskiy also made some NHL history following his strong performance against the Capitals.

According to the NHL's official X account, Vasilevskiy now has the most wins of any goalie who played at least 600 games in NHL history with 371.

Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Sergei Bobrovsky previously held the record with 339. Yet, Vasilevskiy is now at the top of the list, and it only shows just how wonderful his career has been.

Vasilevskiy will now be aiming to stay hot after setting this new NHL record. It will be intriguing to see what kind of season he can put together for the Lightning in 2026-27 from here.
