It has been a historic season for No. 86 in Tampa.
Nikita Kucherov is having an absolutely spectacular season for the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 65 games on the campaign, he has 39 goals to go along with 112 points. With numbers like these, he is in the running for the Hart Memorial Trophy.
However, in last night's 6-3 win over the New York Rangers, Kucherov set another notable milestone. With his four-assist night, the superstar winger officially recorded his third-career 70-assist season. He is only the second active player in the NHL to have three 70-assist campaigns, with Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid being the first.
This shows just how elite Kucherov has been throughout his career, and he is only continuing to make more history. Players as dominant as him are quite the rarity and at age 30, he is not showing a single sign of slowing down.

Ironically, Kucherov's five points last night (one goal, four assists) were not even the most on the Lightning's roster, as Brayden Point had three goals and six points in a spectacular showing of his own.
