The Tampa Bay Lightning got one player back in their lineup on Sunday evening as they faced former captain Steven Stamkos and the Nashville Predators, but their star forward, Nikita Kucherov, missed a second straight game.
Nick Paul drew back into the Lightning lineup on Sunday, after missing Saturday's game against the Ottawa Senators due to illness. The 31`-year-old forward slotted right back into his normal place in the lineup as the Lightning's fourth-line center alongside Oliver Bjorkstrand and Scott Sabourin against the Predators.
Paul played 11:36 in his return, registering one shot on goal in the process. This season, the Mississauga, Ontario native has appeared in 42 games for the Bolts. During that time, he's scored 6 goals with a total of 13 points.
As for Nikita Kucherov, the Lightning's star winger was out of the lineup once again. However, the Lightning don't play again until Tuesday when they face the Montreal Canadiens, so it's entirely possible he'll be ready to go by then.
