Nikita Kucherov Has Multi-Point Game After Lightning Trade Request

Nikita Kucherov's trade request was made public on Friday in what was a shocking development.

However, Kucherov still played for the Lightning in their most recent matchup against the Nashville Predators on Saturday and made an impact.

Kucherov recorded three assists in the Lightning's contest against the Predators. However, it was not enough for the Lightning to pick up a victory, as they lost in the shootout by a 5-4 final score.

As long as Kucherov is with the Lightning, there is no question that he is a player that they will be relying heavily on this season. He is one of the NHL's best players, after all.

With his three-assist night, Kucherov now has 18 points in 13 games this season. With this, the 33-year-old is continuing to make a difference, and it will be interesting to see what the Lightning decide to do with him.
