Oliver Bjorkstrand became the first member of the Tampa Bay Lightning organization to be eliminated from the Olympics on Tuesday morning when his native Denmark were narrowly defeated by Czechia.

Bjorkstrand's first experience in the Olympics saw him record a single point, an assist, in four games. His only point came in Denmark's sole win of the event against Latvia.

Despite not scoring a goal at the Olympics, it certainly wasn't due to a lack of trying by the 30-year-old forward. He had seven shots on goal in Denmark's opening game against Germany, two against Latvia, and four shots on goal during Tuesday's elimination game against Czechia.

Had Denmark defeated Czechia, they would've moved on to face Canada in the Playoffs Quarterfinals on Wednesday.
