Syracuse Crunch defenseman Max Crozier is one of the Tampa Bay Lightning's most promising defenseman prospects. The 24-year-old made his NHL debut last season with the Bolts, where he had two assists in 13 regular-season games. He also played in his first three post-season games with the Lightning last spring.
With the Lightning adding to their blueline this past off-season, Crozier has spent most of this down in the AHL with the Crunch. He has been solid with Syracuse in 2024-25, posting six goals, 20 points, and a plus-5 rating in 35 games. However, what's more encouraging is that he has heated up as this season carries on.
Crozier has been dominant over his last 11 games with the Crunch, posting four goals, 12 points, and a plus-5 rating over that span. With numbers like these, the 6-foot-3 defenseman has undoubtedly been making a significant impact with the AHL squad.
If Crozier continues to play this well for the Crunch, it could certainly lead to him getting another recall to the Lightning's roster. We will need to wait and see how he builds on his hot streak from here.
