After a tough 6-2 loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 1, the Tampa Bay Lightning looked to turn things back around in Game 2. Unfortunately, things did not go the  Lightning's way in Game 2, either, as they fell to the Panthers by a 2-0 final score.

Lightning netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy did his part to try to keep them in the game, as he stopped 21 out of 22 shots he faced. Unfortunately, the Lightning could not solve Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, as he stopped all 19 of Tampa Bay's shots.

With this frustrating loss, the Lightning are now down 2-0 in the series. This is certainly not ideal, especially when noting that the Panthers now have home-ice advantage for the next two contests. However, the Lightning would be in an even more difficult position if they lose Game 3 and end up going down 3-0 in the series. Thus, the Lightning are undoubtedly facing a must-win Game 3.

If the Lightning hope to pick up a much-needed victory in Game 3, they will need their stars to step up and get their offense going. In addition, they will be hoping that Vasilevskiy can have another solid performance like he did in Game 2.

Game 3 between the Lightning and the Panthers will take place on April 26. It will be interesting to see if the Bolts can bounce back and get a win from here. If not, they will be in a very challenging spot.
