The Tampa Bay Lightning put together another impressive 60 minute performance Wednesday night as they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1. Now they’ll have to turn the page quickly to Nashville for the second half of their back-to-back.
For Nashville Tommy Novak is expected to return to the lineup tonight for Nashville after missing eleven games with an upper body injury. Novak had six goals and 12 points in his fourteen games before being injured.
As for the Lightning, they’ll want to keep building on what they’ve done the last two games. They added to their win column by making the necessary adjustments defensively and adding depth to their scoring.
This will be the first trip back to Nashville for Tanner Jeannot, so expect him to have a good game. Bolts fans will also get to see former Lightning defenseman Ryan McDonagh in the lineup for Nashville. Puck drop is at 8pm EST.
