The Tampa Bay Lightning are going to kick off a week of important games tomorrow night when they face the Montreal Canadiens.
Montreal has won five in a row heading into tomorrow night's game and have become one of Tampa's biggest threats for the top spot in the Atlantic Division. Cole Caufield has been on fire for them as well, with six goals and ten points in the last five games.
Then, they'll host the Pittsburgh Penguins who also in the midst of a playoff battle of their own. They currently hold third place in the Metropolitan Division, but the Columbus Blue Jackets are hot on their tail.
Lastly, the Lightning will host the Boston Bruins on Saturday. At the time of writing, the Bruins are sitting in the top wild card spot in the Eastern Conference but they're battling for a divisional spot.
It's going to be a week with quite a few playoff implications for the Lightning, and they'll need to walk away with as many points as possible to try to secure the top seed. Every point matters at this stage, and nothing is guaranteed.
