Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Dylan Duke is one of the most promising young players in the club's system. Due to this, the 23-year-old is a clear player to watch during the 2026-27 season.
Duke took a nice step forward with his play this past season with the Syracuse Crunch, as he recorded 32 goals, 27 assists, and 59 points in 72 games with the AHL club. This was after he posted 20 goals and 40 points in 62 games with the Crunch during the 2024-25 season.
With numbers like these, Duke has shown promise offensively down in the AHL with the Crunch. Because of this, it would not be surprising in the slightest if he gets more opportunities at the NHL level next season with the Bolts.
The Lightning have roster spots to fight for, so Duke will be looking to impress during training camp. If he does and makes the team out of training camp, it will be interesting to see if he can translate some of his AHL scoring to the NHL level.
With Duke being just 23 years old, he is still plenty young enough to break out. The potential for him to emerge as a solid NHL forward is there, and it will be intriguing to see if he can make the jump next season from here.
