Could this Lightning forward hit 100 points for the first time in his career?
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel has been a big part of their forward group for multiple seasons now.
The 28-year-old winger had another good season for Tampa Bay in 2025-26, as he scored a career-high 36 goals and recorded 74 points in 71 games. This was after he posted 35 goals and set career highs with 55 assists and 90 points in 82 games for the Lightning during the 2024-25 season.
Overall, Hagel has developed into a legitimate star in the NHL. He has shown that he can be a serious impact offensively, and the possibility of him hitting another level next season is certainly there because of it.
If Hagel can stay healthy and improve offensively, the possibility of him hitting 100 points for the first time in his NHL career should not be ruled out. This is especially so if he gets the chance to play with superstar winger Nikita Kucherov more.
It will be interesting to see what kind of season Hagel can have in 2026-27. Now that he is entering his prime, a big year could be on the way for the Bolts star.
